Today I Did My Best and My Best Is Good Enough

Team-

What a great week in San Antonio. I’m always blown away how I can be so burnt out a week before the event and then want to change the world the week after. Not sure how we can continuously say 28 summits in a row that “this was the best yet” but I can tell you from my own heart, and where I’m needing help/inspiration, this was the best summit I’ve ever attended.

I believe the final number was 315 students attended and 115 guests (sold out again). Of the 115 guests, 76 signed up to interview for coaching and we will take 25-30 based on our ability to bring in 17 new students, and replace a few others. Our bar continues to be raised and we all need to recognize it. Good news is a raised bar can mean different things (not just production), and as we discussed at the event, the bar in question right now is our own personal best. If we can leave the office each day, turns the lights off and say “Today I did my best, and my best is good enough” that’s all we should ask of ourselves, and that’s all the program, and your coach should ask of you, which is what I’ll be asking.

I would love nothing more than for you to spend an hour today, review your notes, and prioritize what you need to work on. Take the top 5 and get them fixed, then work your way down. You should type out your notes so you can review/reflect on what you wrote down at the event. Please don’t be the guy or girl who looks at their notes at the next summit for the first time since the last….it’s such a waste of time.

My favorite quote from the event “their actions are so loud I can’t hear their words”…..

I’m keeping this one brief today and going to hang out with the familyJ Happy Sunday.
