I’m going to finish typing this, I’m going to get in my car, and I’m going to take my dad for a ride. Yes life can get crazy but we need to keep the irrelevant crap in check and focus on the stuff that matters, which for me has everything to do with honoring the relationships I have with the people I love.
Simple exercise for me, every thought that comes into my brain, push it into 2 categories, is this love or fear?
…and he simply said “I try to evaluate how this decision is going to impact me 3 or 5 years out. Also when you look at the best and worst case scenarios, usually the worst case scenarios aren’t as bad as you think”.
